Heating:

We presently have 4 sources at our disposal:

1. Wood pellet based heating
2. Heat recovery from the ski lift
3. Heat recovery from outgoing air
4. Oil heating
 

Incoming and outgoing air is controlled in all guest rooms, including the air humidity level.

The hotel building is equipped with optimum insulation materials and every room has a regulated flow of incoming and outgoing air.  This means that even with the windows closed, you constantly get fresh air, even in the winter.  What is unique is that the humidity is permanently at a level of between 39% and 41%.  This guarantees a pleasant climate in the room, as the normal humidity during the warm period is below 15%.

Regional products:

Due to the high requirements of our guests and the climate conditions of our region, it is not possible to avoid using “foreign products”, however we try to come back to regional products and suppliers wherever possible.

Water:

In order to relieve the Warta water network, we draw 40% of our water requirement from a mountain reservoir, which also supplies the ski lifts and the snow cannons.  Moreover, we have a double water circuit network in the old and new building.  That means that all of the WCs are supplied with “grey water”.  Grey water is clean water, although it does not have the quality of drinking water.

Your car:

In addition, due to our location by the ski lift, you can do without your car during your entire stay.  You car is best left in our underground garage and will also have a holiday, so to speak.
