At our place the piste adventure begins right on the doorstep – because the valley station of the Steffisalp lift is actually located right in front of the hotel and serves as your entry into Warth-Schröcken ski area which incidentally is one of the most naturally snowy areas in Europe!
Over 305 kilometers of slopes and 88 lifts await you, which connect the villages of Warth-Schröcken, Lech-Zürs, St.Anton, St.Christoph, Stuben, Klösterle / Sonnenkopf and Pettneu and at the same time form the largest common ski area in Austria – Ski Arlberg.
The high location and the amount of snow allow skiing well into spring time. This is one of the reasons why freeriders – who draw their lines through the deep snow off the pistes – feel very comfortable in the region. If that adrenaline rush is not high enough for you, we recommend the option of heli-skiing.
Ski rental, ski school & ski courses
In general, everything a ski & snowboarder’s heart needs can be reached in just a few steps. In addition to the lift in front of our doors, there is also the ski depot or the Jug sports shop directly in the house. At Sport Jug you can rent ski and snowboard equipment, have a ski service done or even buy winter textiles and accessories.
Especially for guests who travel with the whole family as well as for winter sports newbies, there is also a ski school diagonally across the street. The motivated team at the Warth Ski School teaches children and adults, beginners and advanced skiers, technology, safety and, above all, fun in winter sports in short courses. Those who prefer to keep to themselves are well advised to have a private tutor. Not only beginners benefit from the know-how of the ski school professionals, even experienced skiers can learn style and technique in intensive individual lessons
perfect even further.
