Enjoy winter hikes in deep snow
A day with spent winter hiking through the snow-covered Warth is just as much a part of the perfect winter holiday as carving fun on the ski slopes. Therefore you can rent snowshoes at our inhouse sports shop. These help you to hike over the snow cover and not to sink into it as with normal winter boots. Explore the area actively on foot and move your whole body!
For those interested, certified ski instructors from the Warth Ski School also offer guided snowshoe hikes to the most beautiful places in the Warth-Schröcken region twice a week.
Gather first experience in ski touring
There is also a beginner course that introduces you into the world of ski touring. Every Thursday in winter you can join a small group that dares a 45-minute ascent in the morning – in total the ski tour takes 2.5 hours. The equipment is available at Sport Jug, from touring skis and skins to safety equipment and much more. To take part in this course, you should be able to do parallel skiing and already should have gained some experience in deep snow.
