According to the new regulation for winter tourism, stricter measures will come into force again from November 15th, 2021 to ensure a safe ski season. The Warth-Schröcken ski area starts the new season on December 3rd, 2021 – so we would like to inform you about the most important points:

The term “3G rule” or “3G proof” will appear very often during your visit in Austria – regarding the Covid-19 measures. Basically it mean “Genesen, getestet oder geimpft” which translates into recovered, tested or vaccinated. So for most activities and visits you either need to have recovered from Covid-19 and have to show a proof, need to show a recent negative PCR test result or need to show a proof that you are already vaccinated.

  • The 3G proof is checked when tickets are sold. The validity of season tickets depends on the period of the duration of the proof.
  • Cable cars: An FFP2 mask must be worn in gondolas and chairlifts that can be covered, as well as in the associated stations and closed rooms.
  • A current, negative PCR test result, a proof of recovery or a vaccination certificate must also be presented in night-time catering and après-ski.

On the website of Vorarlberg Tourismus you will always find new information about this under the motto “Visiting Vorarlberg safely” or the “Winter Codex”.
