According to the new regulation for winter tourism, stricter measures will come into force again from November 15th, 2021 to ensure a safe ski season. The Warth-Schröcken ski area starts the new season on December 3rd, 2021 – so we would like to inform you about the most important points:
The term “3G rule” or “3G proof” will appear very often during your visit in Austria – regarding the Covid-19 measures. Basically it mean “Genesen, getestet oder geimpft” which translates into recovered, tested or vaccinated. So for most activities and visits you either need to have recovered from Covid-19 and have to show a proof, need to show a recent negative PCR test result or need to show a proof that you are already vaccinated.
The 3G proof is checked when tickets are sold. The validity of season tickets depends on the period of the duration of the proof.
Cable cars: An FFP2 mask must be worn in gondolas and chairlifts that can be covered, as well as in the associated stations and closed rooms.
A current, negative PCR test result, a proof of recovery or a vaccination certificate must also be presented in night-time catering and après-ski.
On the website of Vorarlberg Tourismus you will always find new information about this under the motto “Visiting Vorarlberg safely” or the “Winter Codex”.
