Today’s post is all about a hiking t(r)ip for your summer holiday in Warth-Schröcken!

The practical thing about it: the hike starts right in front of our hotel! So you can relax comfortably on our large sun terrace before you start the popular circular hiking trail including a pure mountain panorama.

The start is quite leisurely – because with the Steffisalp-Express you first go very relaxed up the mountain. Once at the top, continue on foot in the direction of the Hochalphütte. Then we recommend a short break at the Salobersattel before the descent to the Lake Körbersee begins. In the most beautiful place in Austria (as voted in a TV show in 2017) you want to stay longer – as the area is so picturesque. But the hike continues with a small ascent to the Lake Kalbelesee in front of the impressive backdrop of the Biberkopf mountain.

The circular hiking trail ends at the bus stop (“Hochkrumbach Saloberlifte”) from where you can take the bus back to the Steffisalp parking spot.
